It took us only a week after our old RV was destroyed to find and buy a new RV.  Then it took a few days to finalize the purchase, install the package to tow our car, pack our stuff in the RV, and add the necessary hooks and shelves.  Eleven days after the crash we pulled into Ryan Campground in Joshua Tree National Park, our original destination when the California Highway Patrol cruiser interrupted our trip. 

Although 11 days sounds fast, it felt like an eternity to us.  We were often discouraged and depressed and probably suffering a bit from post traumatic stress disorder.  Yet our desire to continue our trip, combined with the generous outpouring of love and encouragement from our family and friends, helped us push through the malaise and end up in sunny Joshua Tree.  Our adventure continues…
