Roxborough State Park in Colorado is known for its dramatic red sandstone formations.  The 3,339-acre park was established in 1975 and recognized as a National Natural Landmark in 1980.  The park consists of forests of ponderosa pine and Douglas fir, prairie land, and woodlands that support many forms of wildlife.  Animals commonly found in the park include black bear, coyote, deer, elk, fox, prairie dog, and rabbit.  (Source: Wikipedia, Image: MLand329)
